Frisco Adventure Park - Winter
The Frisco Adventure Park is the ideal summer or winter basecamp; boasting a tubing hill, beginner ski/ride hill, Nordic center, horse drawn sleigh rides, a free bike park, free disc golf course, free skate park and chuck wagon rides, as well as a beautiful 4,000 square foot day lodge. The Park sits on the Frisco Peninsula, which is public land under the stewardship of the Town of Frisco and the United States Forest Service. The Peninsula plays host to miles of skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and mountain biking trails, and summer lakeside camping is also available on the portion of Peninsula under the care of the Forest Service. An ice cream cone, lovely meal or concert in the park on Frisco’s charming Main Street are located just a few minutes’ drive or bike ride from all of these outdoor adventures.
Copper Mountain Tubing Hill
All tubing hills are not made equal. You could go the classic straight lane route, or you can up your game with Copper. After a day on the slopes, kick off those ski boots and gather your entourage (AKA your family) and head to the hill. Sign your waiver and test out your handpicked tube on Copper’s banked curves.
